Saturday, July 17.  Be at the church at 6:30AM, bring money for dinner, will return by 10PM.  The College/Career group is heading to Globe AZ to the AZ Reservation Missionto deliver the backpacks that were collected during Operation Multitude this past week.  We will help assemble backpacks, eat lunch at the mission and then head out to the reservation to do a Prayer Drive.   

Join us on July 24th as we head to Sedona.  Just a day of shopping and reflection.  A great summer day for all.  We will be leaving from the church at 9AM and returning at 5PM and 9PM – for those who wish to stay late.  Pack a lunch or buy lunch at the outlet stores.  Your choice.  Contact Eileen for more information at 772-7364.

In July our focus is the AZ Reservation Ministry (www.AZRez.org) backpack program for school supplies for the reservation children.  A list of supplies can be found on the AZ Reservation website, or you can contact the office for more information at 772-7364.  Donations will be collected on July 11th during the services as part of our offerings to God.  The supplies will then be delivered by our College Group the following Saturday when they travel to help fill the backpacks and do a prayer tour of the reservation.

Girls – join us July 11 at 6PM at the church building for dinner & a movie.  The movie will be chosen that night from a great selection of “chick flicks”.  Sign ups are encouraged so that we can be sure to have enough food.  Contact us by e-mail at pvcc@commspeed.net or call at 772-7364 to put your name on the list.  All ladies of all ages welcome!  Bring a friend and kick back to enjoy.

Want a great place to watch the PV fireworks without the headache of local traffic?  Do you love Ice Cream Sundaes? Well then, this is the right event for you!  Join us at 8PM for Ice Cream Sundaes – bring your favorite topping to share (vanilla ice cream will be provided) followed by a great view of the fireworks provided compliments of the Town of PV from our east parking area.  Bring a chair or borrow a folding chair and relax while we watch the light display to some of our most beloved patriotic music selections.

Praise the Lord!  We raised over $800 to cover the majority of the cost for our College Group retreat!  Thanks to everyone who donated items and/or came to shop.  We have been truly blessed.
